Dr. Lisa Schwarzbauer

My passion for dermatology began in my childhood, inspired by my grandfather, who was a dermatologist himself. This early enthusiasm continues to accompany and motivate me on my path to becoming a specialist in dermatology to this day.

I began my training in Vienna, where I gained comprehensive practical experience in the renowned teaching practice of Dr. Christiane Pehamberger-Wolf, as well as at the Evangelical Hospital. I then continued my training at the Skin Cancer Center of the Klinikum Vest in Recklinghausen (NRW), Germany, where I was able to further deepen my knowledge and skills. In 2017, I returned to Austria and successfully completed my specialist examination.

Since then, in addition to my work in out-patient clinics, I have also been working as a consultant at the Evangelical Hospital in Vienna. Providing good patient care is particularly important to me. I take the time to address the individual needs and concerns of my patients. With my expertise, I support you in various dermatological issues. This includes general dermatology, skin cancer screening, and dermatological surgery. Additionally, I have specialized in a variety of laser treatments that offer modern and effective solutions for various skin problems. I am experienced in the removal of HPV infections (condylomas) as well as the removal of pearly penile papules. Another focus of my work is on aesthetic medicine, where I offer various treatments to enhance your natural beauty.

Since 2024, I have been part of the dermatology team at 'Medizin am Hauptbahnhof' and I look forward to welcoming you during my consultation hours. Until December 2025 Dr. Schwarzbauer will be on parental leave. As of January 2026 she will be available for her patients.
