Dr. Tobias Peinhaupt, BSc. FEBDV


During my studies in human medicine and biomedicine & biotechnology, I was particularly interested in the areas of oncology and immunology. As part of my medical studies at the Medical University of Vienna, I was able to gain experience in many specialist areas during numerous clinical internships at home and abroad (University of Sydney, University of Valencia, Technical University of Munich) and thus acquire broad medical knowledge. I decided to complete my further training in dermatology, as this is one of the broadest and most exciting fields in medicine and includes both conservative and surgical therapies.

I completed my clinical training at the Hietzing Hospital and at the St. Pölten University Hospital, and I was also able to spend three months of my specialist training in a teaching practice. In addition to the Austrian specialist examination, I also completed the renowned European specialist examination from UEMS. I am a qualified emergency doctor and am currently undergoing additional training to become an occupational medicine doctor.

Continuous training is very important to me because I always want to offer my patients the latest medical findings and modern therapies. In addition to general dermatology and dermatosurgery, my focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, phlebology and the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis or neurodermatitis.
